Gas Cards Needed!

Paw Pals is badly in need of gas card donations! In the last year or so, we have dramatically increased the number of our pets that are taken in by rescues. A few of the rescues are fairly close by, but many are round trips of 200 miles or more and we have made quite a few trips to Wisconsin in the past year.  A trip to Wisconsin can take as much as $150.00 just in gas and tolls.  We think this is well worth it if it saves the life of the pet that is being transported and the life of another back at the shelter because a space was opened up. We have some wonderful volunteers that are willing to give of their time and money to make these trips, but frankly, the gas expense and wear and tear on their vehicles is getting to be too much for some of them.

Please consider helping out by purchasing some gas cards of any denomination and sending them to us or drop them off at the shelter in a sealed envelope with Paw Pals written on the front. Include a brief note and give us your name and address so we can thank you. Your gift will directly save the lives of homeless pets that may not have had a chance otherwise. We’re doing some great things for these pets in Clinton County, but we just need a little help. Even a few dollars can make a difference. Your donation will mean so much to them.

Gas cards purchased at Speedway, Marathon, or BP would be the most useful.  Monetary donations to be used for gas card purchases would also be greatly appreciated. If you can’t drop them off at the shelter, they can be mailed to:
Paw Pals of Clinton County, Inc.
1632 S. County Road 180 E.
Frankfort, In 46041

If you prefer, you can make an online donation toward the purchase of gas cards. We have recently started a fund to help offset rescue expenses.  Paw Pals is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so your donation is tax-deductible!

Thank you so much for caring!

Charlie is just one of many pets that have been saved by being transported to a rescue.  A short time later he was adopted into his forever home!
